Leipold, Kansas add 3 commits

Over the past few days, new coach Lance Leipold and Kansas football picked up commitments from two players from the 2022 class, and one transfer that will be eligible for this season.

On Saturday, graduate transfer corner Jeremy Webb announced his commitment to play for Kansas. He previously played at Virginia Tech and most recently Missouri State. Standing at 6’4” 205 pounds, Webb should provide immediate help at a position of need for the Jayhawks.

On Sunday, three-star cornerback Jalon Peoples and three-star offensive tackle James Livingston became the fourth and fifth players in the 2022 class to commit to Kansas. This also marks the first two recruits brought in by coach Leipold in his tenure.

At 6’0” 175 pounds, Jalon Peoples already has the frame needed to be a quality corner at the highest level.

Standing at a towering 6’7” 275 pounds, James Livingston has intriguing size and athleticism. He will be a player to watch closely moving forward.

Other additions to the 2022 class include receiver Nikki Taylor, safety Jacobe Chester, and cornerback Dewuan Mack.

With so many new faces set to join the Jayhawks, KU fans should be encouraged and excited to see what the future holds for the program.
